Musician Jim Corr last night spoke about his love for Ulster girlfriend Gayle Williamson.
But the Dundalk pop star, who divides his time between Crawfordsburn and Dublin, said he had no plans to wed just yet.
Jim was speaking ahead of the release of The Corrs’ fifth studio album, Home.
The album, out next Monday, sees the siblings return to their traditional roots, with a collection of Irish songs from past and present.
Jim has been dating former Miss Northern Ireland and Miss UK Gayle Williamson since last year and said the couple were still “very much” an item, despite rumours of an on-off relationship.
“We’re very much together and I’m in love,” he said.
“But I’m a guarded person who likes to keep my private life just so. I don’t really like being in the spotlight.
“My plans are that I have no plans. We enjoy being together and living life and we have a lot of fun.”
Jim and Gayle were due to travel to Dundalk last night to meet up with the Corrs’ father and the band’s lead singer Andrea, who has just returned from filming a movie in India.
Jim said: “We’ve all been very busy recently with the new album, which for us, was definitely a labour of love.
“We began researching songs for it at the end of January this year and decided on 12 out of a possible 50 or 60.
“We’re absolutely delighted with the end result and hope, like any artist does, that it does well.
“But this wasn’t about doing something that would be commercially successful, this was about doing something that we’d always wanted to do.
The Corrs hope to undertake a small tour to promote the new album, although dates have not yet been pencilled in.
Home is released next Monday, September 26.
