Sharon
will be on UTV’s Kelly Show this Friday at 9.00 PM (BST). Joining her
will be Niall Mellon, founder of the charity Township Challenge. They
will be talking to Gerry Kelly about ‚Builders Week 2005‘.

Sharon
visited the township of Imizamo Yethu along with the rest of the band
when they went down to perform for Nelson Mandela’s 85th birthday. She
was so moved by the whole experience that she decided to get involved
with raising awareness and funds for the project. Her husband, Gavin,
who was with her at the time also visited the township and for the rest
of his stay helped build houses and has since returned a few times as
part of the building team.

This year the target is to get 450 builders to try and improve the
living conditions of people living in shacks within townships in South
